Cascada Tamina

The Tamina Waterfall, near the resort of Busteni at the foot of the Bucegi massif, is a picturesque cascade hidden among rock walls and lush vegetation. Waters rising in the mountain tumble over steps of rock in a cool, shaded setting, appreciated above all on hot summer days. The access route starts from the Busteni area and follows a marked path through the forest, offering views along the way towards the slopes of the Bucegi.

The waterfall is an accessible attraction, suited to short family hikes but also a starting point for longer mountain routes. The natural setting, with the murmur of water and clean air, turns the place into a relaxing stop. Proper footwear for the mountain path is recommended, along with care on the wet and slippery stretches near the falls.
