Telegondola Piatra Neamț

The Piatra Neamț gondola lift is one of the few installations of its kind set right inside a Romanian city and a spectacular way to admire Piatra Neamț from above. Starting from the centre, the cabins rise above the rooftops to Cozla Mountain, over a considerable height difference, offering ever wider views of the city, the Bistrița river and the surrounding mountains. At the top are a leisure park, walking trails, a ski slope used in winter and viewpoints, turning the ride into a small excursion in itself.

It is an attraction suited to all ages and a starting point for longer hikes in the nearby massifs. The view is superb especially in autumn, when the forests change colour, and in the evening, when the city lights up.
