Petro Vaselo

Petro Vaselo is the Italian-Romanian winery at Recaș that brought a distinct, elegant and modern style to the Banat, with an emphasis on sparkling wines and surprising grapes. The Bortolusso family makes quality traditional-method sparkling (the Ovas range) as well as still wines from Fetească Neagră, whites and international varieties, always with clean fruit and finesse. The estate's contemporary architecture, set among the vines, makes it one of the most photogenic wineries in the west.

Visits include cellar tours, guided tastings and often food experiences. It's the choice for anyone after refinement and good bubbles just half an hour from Timișoara, easy to combine with neighbouring Cramele Recaș for a day of tasting in the Banat.
