Pârtia Clăbucet Predeal

The Clabucet ski slope is one of the best-known ski areas in the resort of Predeal, the highest tourist town in Romania, set where the Bucegi, Baiu and Postavaru mountains meet. The slope runs down the flanks of Clabucet, offering runs for different levels of ability, from beginners to experienced skiers, and is served by cable transport installations. In winter the area attracts many lovers of cold-season sports, who make the most of the abundant snow and the mountain scenery.

In the other seasons Clabucet becomes a starting point for hiking, with trails climbing towards the ridges and wide views over the resort and the surrounding mountains. Predeal is easily reached, lying on the main route that links Brasov with the Prahova Valley, which makes it a popular weekend destination. Suitable seasonal gear is recommended, along with checking the weather and snow conditions before setting out on the slope or on a hike.
