Cascada Pișoaia

Pisoaia Waterfall is one of the most beautiful cascades in the Apuseni Mountains, located near the village of Vidra in Alba county, at an accessible distance from the Turda area. The water plunges from a considerable height over a travertine formation covered in green moss, creating a spectacular sight, especially in spring when the flow is rich. The waterfall is surrounded by forest and a quiet mountain landscape, which makes it a pleasant destination for easy hikes and photography.

Access is by a short and well-marked trail, suitable even for less experienced visitors. In the area one can discover other natural sights typical of the Land of the Moti, with scattered villages and preserved traditions.
