Năvodari

A family resort at the northern end of the coast, with a wide beach and a marina.

At the northern end of the Romanian coast, where Mamaia's beach continues north, Năvodari is a family resort with one of the widest and longest beaches on the Black Sea. Fine sand, shallow water and friendlier prices than the southern resorts make it ideal for holidays with children.

The town is best known for the Năvodari youth camp, one of the largest in the country, where whole generations of children spent their summers. Nearby are the Aqua Magic water park and the Mamaia Nord area, which in recent years has become a hub of summer fun, with clubs and beach bars.

Năvodari is also an important Black Sea port, and its landscape blends the broad beaches with Lake Tașaul and the Midia canal. It is the right choice for anyone after sun, plenty of sand and a relaxed mood, a few kilometres from Constanța and the energy of Mamaia, but at more accessible prices.
